About the CompanyAt Soleras Precision, the role of (Junior) Business Development Manager is designed as a high-impact position with broad business responsibility and a clear growth path toward General Management. From day one, you will be entrusted with significant responsibility and play a key role in the company’s further growth and professionalization.About the RoleThis position combines strategic leadership, operational management, and strong commercial ownership. You will carry end responsibility for the company’s daily operations, the implementation of strategy, and overall operational and financial performance (P&L). There is a strong focus on external sales and market development. You will actively represent the organization in the market, build long-term customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities across the Benelux, France, and Germany. Regular travel is therefore an essential part of the role.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the company’s strategy to achieve long-term objectivesTranslate strategy into actionable plans and ensure alignment across departmentsIdentify growth opportunities and drive business expansion initiativesDrive external sales activities with a strong hunter mentalityBuild and expand the customer portfolio in machine building and related industriesStrengthen market positioning and brand visibilityLead negotiations and manage key accountsTravel actively within the Benelux, France, and GermanyOversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and delivery performanceImplement and optimize processes and organizational structuresEnsure smooth collaboration between departmentsManage budgets, cost control, and profitabilityTake ownership of the P&LPerform and validate cost calculations and pricing strategiesRecruit, develop, and lead teamsCreate a performance-driven cultureMotivate and coach employees to achieve business goalsEnsure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirementsAct as a reliable and responsible company representativeAct as the face of the organization internally and externallyRepresent Soleras Precision with customers, partners, and stakeholdersQualificationsApproximately 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in machine building or an industrial environmentProven track record in a senior sales or business development roleStrong sales-driven mindset with a true hunter profileExperience with cost calculations, pricing, and financial follow-upDemonstrated ability to structure and scale organizationsStrong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teamsWillingness to travel frequently within the Benelux, France, and GermanyFluent in Dutch and English (knowledge of German and/or French is a plus)Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and results-orientedStrategic thinker with strong execution capabilitiesExcellent communicator and relationship builderResilient, proactive, and flexible in a dynamic environment
