About the Role
This position combines strategic leadership, operational management, and strong commercial ownership. You will carry end responsibility for the company’s daily operations, the implementation of strategy, and overall operational and financial performance (P&L). There is a strong focus on external sales and market development. You will actively represent the organization in the market, build long-term customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities across the Benelux, France, and Germany. Regular travel is therefore an essential part of the role.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the company’s strategy to achieve long-term objectives
* Translate strategy into actionable plans and ensure alignment across departments
* Identify growth opportunities and drive business expansion initiatives
* Drive external sales activities with a strong hunter mentality
* Build and expand the customer portfolio in machine building and related industries
* Strengthen market positioning and brand visibility
* Lead negotiations and manage key accounts
* Travel actively within the Benelux, France, and Germany
* Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and delivery performance
* Implement and optimize processes and organizational structures
* Ensure smooth collaboration between departments
* Manage budgets, cost control, and profitability
* Take ownership of the P&L
* Perform and validate cost calculations and pricing strategies
* Recruit, develop, and lead teams
* Create a performance-driven culture
* Motivate and coach employees to achieve business goals
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
* Act as a reliable and responsible company representative
* Act as the face of the organization internally and externally
* Represent Soleras Precision with customers, partners, and stakeholders
Qualifications
* Approximately 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in machine building or an industrial environment
* Proven track record in a senior sales or business development role
* Strong sales-driven mindset with a true hunter profile
* Experience with cost calculations, pricing, and financial follow-up
* Demonstrated ability to structure and scale organizations
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams
* Willingness to travel frequently within the Benelux, France, and Germany
* Fluent in Dutch and English (knowledge of German and/or French is a plus)
* Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and results-oriented
* Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
