Responsabilities:
* Act as a strategic partner and advisor to the customer, discovering new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit.
* Increase market share, sales, and active buying customer base.
* Engage with customers and high potential customers to learn about their business, the products they make, and the initiatives they have for improvement.
* Implement an effective sales process following the "ifm Opportunity Management" methodology. Evaluate all listed accounts and develop an account strategy to identify and win the best opportunities for ifm.
* Conduct in-person meetings on large projects to evaluate machines, solve applications or present ifm solutions.
* Work in a team selling environment to leverage expertise across the sales team, develop accounts and win opportunities.
* Energetically approach new business and prospecting to develop future growth. • Develop and maintain a sales funnel with enough opportunities in all stages to exceed the annual sales growth target.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; share this knowledge by informing and training the sales team if needed.
Qualification / Skills
• 1-5 years of related technical sales experience preferred.
• Business or engineering degree preferred.
• Strong selling attitude.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; industrial automation experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and sales skills to provide customers with the value added support that makes ifm unique in the automation business.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the ifm organization and medium and high-level contacts at the accounts.
• Attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-disciplined with a high sense of urgency to be a collaborative business partner.
• Ability to work with various teams as well as independently.
