Freelance Technical Application Owner - Long Term - Hybrid
For our Client in the Banking Sector we are currently looking for a Freelance Technical Application Owner to work on an exciting long term project.
Responsibilities
* Keep the application running. That's the main job.
* Check monitoring
* Monthly upgrades of the application
* Handle migrations and installations when the app moves somewhere
* Own the problems — if something goes wrong, it's on you to fix it or get the supplier to fix it
* Build and maintain relationships across the bank because you need people to help you when you need something
Requirements
* Strong Linux/RHEL knowledge — this whole application runs on Red Hat
* Bash scripting
* Good English (required). French is a plus.
* Understanding of payment systems and banking operations (you'll learn this on the job)
* Willingness to troubleshoot and take ownership
* Ability to work with people across the bank and push back when needed
