Position
Associate QA Engineer, SAP FI — resident anywhere in Brazil.
Position Summary
The QA Engineer – SAP FI is responsible for executing and supporting Quality Assurance activities for SAP initiatives in Brazil, with a focus on Financial processes. This hands-on role focuses on test execution, validation of financial and business scenarios, and collaboration with cross-regional teams. The QA Engineer will work closely with Brazil and India teams to ensure alignment of testing activities, timelines, and quality expectations. The role supports Tax & Regulatory driven initiatives and ensures high-quality deliverables through structured test execution and collaboration with functional and technical teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Cross-Regional Coordination
o Support QA activities across Brazil and India teams
o Align with global teams on testing priorities and deliverables
o Follow defined QA standards and processes
o Support knowledge sharing across regions
* Test Execution & Support
o Execute test cases based on functional specifications and user stories
o Support creation and refinement of test scenarios
o Validate financial processes across different scenarios
o Execute SIT and regression testing cycles
o Support UAT activities when required
o Identify and document defects, ensuring proper tracking to closure
o Support validation of integration points with other SAP modules
* Hands-On SAP Testing
o Validate financial processes including GL, AP, and AR
o Validate financial postings and reporting scenarios
o Execute functional testing across multiple environments
o Support retesting and validation of fixes
* Tax & Regulatory Support
o Support validation of SAP updates related to Brazilian tax and regulatory requirements
o Work closely with Business Analysts and Developers to ensure test accuracy
o Validate compliance-driven scenarios
* Agile / Kanban Collaboration
o Participate in backlog refinement and story discussions
o Align QA execution with development activities
o Support continuous improvement initiatives
* Quality Support
o Ensure test execution quality and completeness
o Support defect analysis and resolution cycles
o Follow QA best practices and standards
o Contribute to consistency across testing activities
* Testing Governance / Structure
o Experience with test planning and test case design (test scenarios, test scripts)
o Knowledge of test documentation and evidence management
o Understanding of defect lifecycle and incident management
* Integration & End-to-End Validation
o Experience validating end-to-end processes (FI integrated with MM and SD)
Education
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Location
* Brazil
* Ability to travel to Sao Paulo Office, as required
Experience
* 0-2 years of experience with SAP applications
* Functional expertise in SAP FI
* Experience with financial processes (GL, AP, AR)
* Experience with functional testing activities
* Experience working with distributed teams is a plus
* Experience in Tax & Regulatory driven updates is desirable
* Agile/Kanban experience preferred

* SAP FI functional knowledge
* Understanding of financial processes
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently with accountability
* Strong communication skills
* JIRA experience preferred
* Fluent Portuguese and professional English
