The team has built extensive experience in various domains across the value creation spectrum, such as Strategic Transformations, Transaction Strategy and Execution, Commercial Due Diligence, Commercial Strategy & Pricing, and Growth Strategies. EY-Parthenon is a fast‑growing service offering within EY Belgium. This provides new team members broader responsibilities, more exposure to clients, and – overall – a significant opportunity for personal growth and development. Currently we are looking for a Senior Consultant - Strategy & Transformation to join our team in Belgium.
Key Responsibilities
* TECHNICAL responsibility:
o Delivery excellence: take responsibility over a project stream (including management of key stakeholders, timelines, and important meetings). Support your project manager on a daily basis and become a ‘wing person’.
o Build and present a storyline, distinguishing key messages from details.
o Coaching: coach up to 3 team members to accelerate their development and progress on the project.
* BUSINESS responsibility:
o Sales excellence: actively contribute to proposals and drive pieces of them end‑to‑end based on guidelines and discussions with senior leaders.
o Support the team in building inspirational documents and join client discussions.
o Build diverse capabilities: support the market position of EY-Parthenon by driving inspirational eminence pieces forward and participating in community activities.
* LEADERSHIP responsibilities:
o Effective communication: confidently present insights to senior client stakeholders and challenge them constructively.
o Collaboration: serve as a go‑to person for both junior practitioners and leaders.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 2–3 years of working experience in a strategy consulting firm and/or in a corporate strategy department or strategic role.
* A Master’s degree in civil/business engineering, economics or a similar field. An MBA or additional master’s degree will be considered a strong asset.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the practical ability to shape a business agenda and define strategic roadmaps.
* Experience executing complex business projects and working with multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong internal and external business development acumen.
* An entrepreneurial spirit, team player and excellent communicator.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, French or English. Preferably mastery of one Belgian national language.
