At IBA, we use data and cloud technologies to revolutionize cancer care through proton therapy. Within our Clinical Digital team, you’ll lead the design of scalable data solutions that power smarter decisions in engineering, operations, product, and finance.
We’re looking for a hands-on Data Tech Lead: someone who can code, architect, and guide a team while collaborating across disciplines.
Your role: technical leadership and data architecture
As our Data Tech Lead, you will:
1. Design and scale our data architecture (Data Lake, Data Warehouse)
2. Lead the team in data engineering and data science
3. Act as the technical point of contact for product owners, analysts, Power Platform developers
4. Drive excellence in data quality, reliability, and performance
5. Solve production issues and ensure smooth operations
6. Collaborate with data architects and tech leads across entities to support a long-term data vision
7. Report directly to the Data Manager
Your profile
We’re looking for a technical expert with:
8. Proven experience in data engineering and data science
9. First experience as Technical Lead or Senior Data
10. Expertise in:
Python, Spark, SQL (DBT), Git
Azure (or equivalent cloud platform)
Databricks, Delta Lake, Dagster, Terraform
Docker, Kubernetes
11. Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps
12. Interest in data architecture and software design
13. Bonus: experience with streaming data / IoT
14. Language: English (C1 minimum); French is a plus
