SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - LEUVEN (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITION
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments.
The role covers Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization platforms, Microsoft 365 services, and core networking infrastructure.
You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of systems that support business operations, working closely with IT, security, and application teams.
Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows Server and Linux server environments.
Manage virtualization platforms, including provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of virtual machines and related infrastructure.
Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and user lifecycle management.
Support and integrate cloud services with on-premises infrastructure.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, and network layers.
Provide second- and third-line support for escalated infrastructure incidents.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
~3+ years of experience in System Administration or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
~ Strong experience managing Windows Server environments and good working knowledge of Linux systems.
~ Hands-on experience with server virtualization and virtual infrastructure management.
~ Solid understanding of core networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, and VPNs.
~ Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure environments.
~ A permanent, full-time employment contract
