SAP EWM Consultant

Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to support the design, build, and optimisation of warehouse processes within a complex SAP landscape. The ideal candidate brings deep process and configuration expertise, strong integration knowledge, and the ability to collaborate closely with both business and technical teams.
You will play a key role in enhancing warehouse efficiency, enabling automation, and ensuring seamless execution of fulfilment processes across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Lead solution design, configuration and implementation of SAP EWM (decentralised or embedded).
Engage with business stakeholders to translate warehousing requirements into robust SAP solutions.
Support blueprinting, functional specifications, testing and cutover activities.
Configure key functional areas including:
Inbound & Outbound processes
Picking, packing & put-away strategies
Slotting & rearrangement
Physical inventory
RF & barcode scanning
Material Flow System (MFS) / automation interfaces
Manage integration with SAP MM, SD, PP and other warehouse technologies.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and deliver corrective improvements.
Deliver key user training, documentation and hypercare support post go-live.
Collaborate with ABAP development teams and guide technical enhancements when required.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5+ years of SAP WM/EWM experience.
Hands-on expertise in EWM configuration across inbound, outbound and internal warehouse processes.
Strong understanding of warehouse logistics, inventory control and best-practice operations.
Experience with RF scanning solutions and warehouse automation integration.
Ability to create functional specs and perform debugging during build and testing.
Proven success across full project life cycles (design → deployment → support).
Solid knowledge of integration with MM, SD, PP.
Desirable Skills
Experience in S/4HANA Embedded EWM.
Knowledge of Material Flow System (MFS) and automated warehouse solutions.
Familiarity with transportation/logistics execution processes.
Soft Skills

Language
Fluent in English.
Professional French or Dutch.
