Our client, a leading Danish distributor of stainless steel products with a strong presence in nine European countries, seeks a highly motivated and commercially driven Internal Account Manager to join their Belgian team. As a pioneer in digital solutions within their industry, they empower their team to focus on commercial activities rather than administrative tasks. Having been active in Belgium since, they are experiencing a significant growth phase and are looking for passionate individuals to contribute to their continued success.
Develop and Grow Existing Accounts:
5. Manage and nurture a portfolio of existing clients throughout Belgium (primarily Flanders, with some clients in Wallonia).
6. Partner with the external sales team to deliver seamless customer service and capitalize on sales opportunities.
7. Identify growth potential within existing accounts and execute strategies to expand market share.
8. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations, primarily stockholders, subcontractors, and companies in sectors like pipe, laser cutting, mining, and machine construction.
Acquire New Business:
9. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with high-potential customers, leveraging the company's extensive database and ideal client profiles.

About the ideal candidate
You have a demonstrated history of sales success, ideally within the stainless steel or a related technical industry (aluminum, steel).
You possess a strong technical background and a solid understanding of stainless steel products (tubes, fittings, bars) and industry standards, including production norms.
You are a highly driven and results-oriented individual with a proactive "can-do" attitude and a passion for achieving goals, embodying the "Viking mentality" valued by the company.
You are a collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, pro at building relationships with clients and colleagues.
You are proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about contributing to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You are fluent in Dutch and ideally possess professional proficiency in French and English.
