In this role, you will contribute to optimizing and modernizing the IT infrastructure and application landscape of one of Europe's leading transmission system operators.What you'll doYou will play a key role in aligning business needs, architectural governance, and delivery teams to ensure coherent and future-proof solutionsAnalyze functional and non-functional requirements, constraints, and business capabilitiesDecompose business capabilities into relevant Solution Building Blocks using recommended architectural styles and reference architecturesDesign and adapt technical solutions that modernize the application landscapeDeliver architecture designs in accordance with the organization's architecture vision, standards, and guidelinesProvide expertise in integration design, application architecture, and available toolingAct as the key link between the Product Organization, Architecture teams, and Delivery teamsParticipate in the delivery process to ensure implementation aligns with the approved architectureContribute to governance processes (Design Boards) and support decision-making using techniques such as ADR and AtamSupport transformation initiatives across multiple business units in Belgium and GermanyProfile / requirementsWho you are :You are an experienced Solution Architect with a strong technical background and the ability to translate business needs into robust, scalable architectural solutions.You are autonomous, result-oriented, and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.Additionally, you bring:At least 6 years of relevant experience as a Solution ArchitectStrong experience applying IT standards and methodologies such as Togaf, ArchiMate, Atam, and CbamFamiliarity with architecture Modeling Languages such as ArchiMate (experience with SparX Enterprise Architect is a strong plus)Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)Experience with modern architectural paradigms such as MicroServices and event-driven architecturesAn Agile mindset and experience working in Agile environmentsStrong collaboration skills and openness to peer feedbackThe ability to work autonomously and take initiativeA continuous learning mindset and the ability to facilitate workshops and technical discussionsFluent English and German (mandatory
