IS Support Manager
My international client is seeking an IS Support Manager to join the team on a long term contract assignment. Remote working is possible but the Support Manager will need to be on site at the customer offices in Brussels up to 5 days per month. This project is due to start in November 2025 but applications are being reviewed now.
Key Tasks and responsibilities of the IS Manager ?
* Organization, deployment, and ongoing management of Information Systems (IS) support.
* Coordination and oversight of support teams.
* Management of IS services and related processes.
* Collaboration with project teams to ensure alignment and support.
* Administration of wikis, collaborative platforms, and internal social networks.
* Oversight of information resources and maintenance of the organization's knowledge base.
* Monitoring and improvement of service quality in incident, problem, and issue management.
* Handling and tracking of user requests and inquiries.
* Providing guidance and assistance on effective use of information systems.
* Management of IS-related incidents.
* Development and organization of user documentation for information systems.
* Planning and delivery of IS and ICT training programs.
* Designing and implementing efficient support processes.
* Supporting users with information systems and ICT tools via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Required skills and experience
* Master's degree with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's degree with minimum of 9 years of relevant experience), including at least 2 years of specific experience in Support Management.
* At least 1 year of experience in providing end-user support for information systems, particularly within business workflow applications.
* At least 3 years of specific expertise with Microsoft Office Suite.
