Contract Manager, Belgium

With an annual turnover of over 3 billion euros, they are now expanding their presence into the Belgian market working on a 3BN+ euros contract for a Rail Manufacturing project.
Your Role
As the business continues to expand, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to support them on a Rail Manufacturing Project based in Belgium.
You will be ideally based in Belgium and you will have experience with contract and claims management, ideally on rail projects as well as design & build contracts.
Responsibilities will include drafting claims, change orders, variation orders as well as contract negotiation and claims management.
Native or full professional French proficiency is a must. Knowledge of Spanish or English would be a plus for the role.
You
As an experienced Contract Manager, fluent in French, you will be a degree-qualified quantity surveyor, engineer or construction manager. You will know about employer and subcontractor management, have knowledge of FIDIC contract, contract negotiation and drafting, claims and variation orders. Furthermore, it is essential that you have experience writing claims letters and drafting contract narratives. Finally, you will have a stable work history and will be seeking a permanent appointment with the business in Belgium.
