Job Title: Strategic Fleet Procurement Specialist
Overview
As a Strategic Fleet Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the procurement strategy for fleet management at our organisation. This position requires a dynamic and experienced professional with expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiation techniques, and supplier management.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding the entire organisation on matters related to Transport & Fleet procurement, using market knowledge and Strategic Sourcing strategies when contracting suppliers. You will comply with Public Procurement Legislation and internal rules and procedures related to procurement, negotiate and conclude contracts by utilising the techniques of Strategic Sourcing in accordance with Category Plans prepared by Category Managers.
Scope
Your scope of work includes driving public procurement tenders in various fields such as Rolling equipment, Energy, Fleet insurance, 3PL transport, amongst other projects and categories. Within these areas, you will handle the commercial framework, SLA, contract negotiation and governance.
Key Responsibilities

* Strategic Sourcing: Implement all aspects of the category strategy, including setting up a strategic planning, a sourcing roadmap and exercising stakeholder management for assigned projects.

* Strategic Sourcing: Perform strategic sourcing for projects with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimisation and a deep understanding of the needs of internal customers and organisational targets.

* Public Procurement Law: Ensure the implementation of purchases is done in the most efficient way and in accordance with the Public Procurement Act and internal processes.

* Supplier and Customer Relations: Advise, challenge and support internal customers in defining their needs, drawing up budgets and planning procurement projects. Communicate fluently and proactively with internal customers regarding all information they need.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience or interest in strategic procurement or a related role in a large company. You should have a strong understanding of public procurement law and a willingness to drive transformation in a dynamic environment. Additionally, you should possess junior/medior/senior expertise in procurement and negotiation techniques, including supplier sourcing, negotiations, selection and development.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of public procurement law and a thorough understanding of Dutch or French and English. Familiarity with ERP and reporting techniques, such as Oracle and Business Objects, is also desirable. Furthermore, you should have a solid understanding of industry trends and best practices in domains such as Fuel and Green energy, Electrification of vehicles pool, E-Bikes, Car & Truck Lease/Buy, Insurance on vehicles, Fleet Management, Automotive industry innovations and technology.
