Our Metering & Laboratory Department is looking for a Travelling Technician – Metering Operations (m/f/x) for the Brussels/Antwerp region.
Job purpose
As a travelling technician within the Metering Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and inspecting metering and telecommunications equipment at our gas receiving stations in the Brussels/Antwerp region.
Your responsibilities
* You will independently carry out inspection and maintenance work on metering equipment and ensure correct reporting
* You will closely monitor metering data and adjust it where necessary
* You will monitor metrological quality and work in accordance with the applicable standards (ISO/IEC 17020)
* You will be the point of contact for end users in your region and provide technical and administrative support
* You will work closely with colleagues and internal/external customers
* You will actively contribute to projects related to the energy transition and will be given the opportunity to help shape your role
About you
* You have a bachelor's degree in electromechanical engineering or a similar field
* You have relevant experience in a technical position; experience of metrology would be a plus
* You are flexible, enjoy working in a changing environment and appreciate variety in your job
* You are customer-focused, communicative, independent and enjoy working in a team
* You have an open and critical mindset
* You have an excellent command of Dutch, a good command of French and a basic grasp of English
* You are a proficient user of MS Office
* You hold a category B driving licence
* You live in the Brussels/Antwerp area
