Key Account Manager EPC - Technical Advisor with Commercial Drive

As Key Account Manager EPC at Sarens Projects, you work on technically challenging heavy lifting and engineered transport projects for leading Engineering, Procurement & Construction companies worldwide - with a strong focus on the Italian market. You combine technical expertise with strong commercial skills to build lasting relationships and close high-value deals.

Your impact
You act as the primary contact for EPC clients, translating their technical challenges into tailor-made solutions. With your in-depth knowledge of equipment and market insights, you win projects that drive our international growth.

Your responsibilities
* Maintain and expand relationships with existing EPC clients through regular contact and international site visits (focus on Italy - ±80% of projects)
* Proactively generate new business through targeted prospecting
* Analyse client needs and translate them into heavy lifting solutions
* Advise on the optimal combination of equipment (cranes, SPMTs, strand jacks, jacking systems, pontoons…) based on quality, safety, time, and cost
* Prepare and present tenders and proposals (in collaboration with inside sales or independently for smaller projects)
* Negotiate prices, terms, and contract details
* Closely follow up on projects until handover to operations
* Handle all required administrative and reporting tasks
Your profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g., engineering) or equivalent through experience
* Experience in operations or sales within a technical project environment
* Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written) - Dutch is a plus
* Proficient with MS Office and CRM systems
* Flexible in tasks, working hours, and willing to travel internationally (±35%, mainly to Italy)
* Combination of relationship builder and proactive hunter
