Want to be part of our multi-user warehouse, we are looking for a proactive Operations Supervisor in Zellik, Belgium.
We are in search of a natural leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves driving team performance. You will be supporting a team of 4-5 Team leader and 80-100 indirect employees
Ability to cover 2 shifts between Monday - Saturday rotational
one day working from home Friday or Monday shift dependant)
Fluency in Dutch, French both verbal and written, communication in English
Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the department with particular emphasis on managing warehouse associates.
Train, motivate and lead within area of responsibility.
Liaising with agencies and workforce planning.
Maintains a safe work environment and fosters a positive team dynamic, resolving employee relations issues and administering corrective action as required.
Responsible for achieving customer metrics (quality and responsiveness).
Implement and coach Lean Warehousing System and processes.
Lead (daily) start-up activities with cross functional teams.
Work safely as per GXO Health & Safety trainings, standards, procedures and processes and actively contribute to a safer work environment for colleagues and visitors.
Experience of leading a team within a warehousing/distribution or production environment, understanding the picking and processing duties.
Fluent Dutch and French, both orally and in writing; Good knowledge of English.
