Outdoor Sales Executive (Air & Ocean Freight)

Overview
An established international freight forwarding organisation is looking to hire an Outdoor Sales Executive to support continued growth within its Air & Ocean Freight offering. This role focuses on new business development while also nurturing and expanding existing client relationships across the Barcelona market.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and acquire new customers, focusing on high-value and strategic freight opportunities
* Manage and grow existing client relationships, acting as a trusted logistics partner
* Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders, and lead pricing and contract negotiations
* Conduct face-to-face client visits and present tailored logistics solutions
* Work closely with internal operations and product teams to ensure seamless service delivery
* Translate customer requirements into scalable air and ocean freight solutions
* Drive revenue growth, market presence, and long-term customer satisfaction
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or business development within air and/or ocean freight forwarding
* Strong understanding of international logistics and supply chain solutions
* Commercially driven with a consultative, customer-focused approach
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
* Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
* Holds a valid driver’s licence and is comfortable with local travel
