Your Key Responsibilities are:
Customer Experience
1. Get to know guests’ preferences and expectations to deliver memorable dining experiences
2. Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring positive outcomes
3. Build rapport with regular guests and proactively manage VIP or special requests
Operational Procedures
4. Organize and oversee staff schedules, manage shift changes, and ensure smooth handovers
5. Lead pre-shift briefings: update the team on events, promotions, menu changes, and set the tone for service
6. Consistently monitor service flow; optimize table turnover and address bottlenecks
Staff Management & Development
7. Identify staff training and development needs; design and deliver engaging training programs
8. Mentor and onboard new staff, guide daily performance, and offer constructive feedback
9. Implement motivational strategies to retain and energize the team
10. Maintain a positive, collaborative workplace culture
Equipment & Maintenance
11. Ensure all restaurant equipment is fully functional; perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues
12. Oversee regular deep cleaning and maintenance routines
13. Keep first aid supplies up to date and enforce fire safety practices
Emergency & Safety Procedures
14. Be well-versed in all emergency and crisis protocols
15. Lead by example on health and safety, hygiene standards, and documentation (HACCP compliance)
Technology & Systems
16. Manage point-of-sale (POS) and reservation systems confidently
17. Use inventory management solutions (e.g., Growzer) to forecast, order, and track stock efficiently
18. Process gift card transactions and maintain related logs
Community & Vendor Relations
19. Cultivate friendly, respectful relationships with suppliers and community partners
20. Offer personal touches—like a coffee with a delivery driver or genuine conversation with local partners

21. Deliver excellent customer service and address complaints
22. Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and staff support
23. Mentor, train, and assist team members; ensure knowledge of menu and procedures
24. Monitor food/beverage quality and service standards
25. Enforce a zero-tolerance policy on drugs/alcohol for a safe workspace
26. Ensure a clean, inviting, and vibrant environment at all times
27. Communicate weekly updates to management (staff progress, client feedback, operational insights)
28. Issue, activate, and track gift cards
What You Bring
29. Strong leadership and people skills with a positive, team-playing attitude
30. Operational savvy in hospitality or food & beverage settings
31. Excellent communication in English; other language skills a plus
32. Energy, resilience, and a drive to make every day at work fun and memorable
33. Attention to detail, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and innovation
34. Familiarity with POS and reservation systems; basic knowledge of inventory and compliance best practices
