Egta, is currently searching for a new junior colleague for its TV Research and Market Insight department.
This person will work hand in hand with egta’s TV Research team and will help meet its members’ constant need for information and international benchmarks. He/she will analyse incoming questions, structure questionnaires, help create surveys and databases, collate information, process it and feed it back to all interested parties in a clear, visual and helpful format.
He/she will also be asked to assist with the organisation of "virtual" or "in person" events in line with the hottest research topics of the moment or with the activities of the association. As such, he/she will be asked to travel occasionally.
The ideal candidate:
* has two to four years of practical experience in the media research and advertising industry. Having worked for a TV, radio or digital media company/sales house or for a media agency is a plus.
* understands the challenges of a fast-changing media industry turned fully digital and is curious about innovation in the TV and video industry, with a passion for topics such as new technologies, streaming strategies and digital marketing
* is a native speaker or has a PERFECT mastery of both spoken and written English
* is not so much a “number cruncher”, but rather, is good at summarizing and digesting information coming from various sources and countries
* is good at simplifying and presenting information clearly with a dedication to serving a community of professionals across very different markets
* is comfortable with all Microsoft Office tools, in particular with Excel
* is a team player
* is able to multi-task and work under pressure
* is open to travel
* is based in Brussels or nearby and as a Belgian working permit
