YOUR RESPONSABILITIES As Area Real Estate Manager, you are accountable for managing existing assets and their full lifecycle, while leading construction and property-related projects. You ensure a safe, compliant, cost-efficient, and sustainable portfolio that supports long-term business growth. You will: • Build and lead a high-performing, inclusive team through leading by supporting others, clear goals, competence development, and succession planning • Deliver business and real estate plans across multiple property types by planning, budgeting, allocating resources, and collaborating with internal stakeholders • Manage asset lifecycle performance—optimizing property value, efficiency, safety, compliance, sustainability, cost, and customer experience • Plan, steer, and deliver real estate and construction projects that meet business objectives, ensuring quality, time, cost, compliance, and strong sourcing practices • Strengthen partnerships with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers • Drive innovation and continuous improvement, challenge current ways of working, and share best practices across the organisation • Foster a culture rooted in IKEA values, diversity, sustainability, inclusion, and long-term thinking
