Contract: 6 Months Initial + ExtensionAbout the RoleWe are supporting a leading industrial manufacturing company in the Ghent region that is looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to support ongoing maintenance and reliability of production equipment.This is a hands-on freelance role within a fast-paced production environment, working closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production machineryDiagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faultsSupport breakdown interventions to minimise downtimeWork on motors, conveyors, pumps, and automated systemsRead and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawingsCollaborate with internal teams to improve equipment reliability
What You BringStrong experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician in an industrial environmentSolid knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systemsExperience with fault finding, maintenance, and troubleshootingFamiliarity with PLC systems (Siemens or similar) is a plusAbility to work independently on-siteDutch-speaking (required)
