As a Senior HRBP, you will provide expert HR support to employees and senior leadership across assigned business units or departments. You’ll play a key role in driving organizational culture, shaping our employee value proposition, and delivering impactful HR projects aligned with our global, regional, and local strategies. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will influence business decisions while managing employee relations and Works Council activities in partnership with the HR Director. Key Responsibilities
As our Senior HRBP, you will: Strategize & Advise: Partner with the HR Director to define and implement People Priorities and HR Strategy. Act as the go‑to HR contact for employees and leaders, addressing queries on social legislation, compliance, training, HR systems, and policies. Provide guidance to line management and senior leaders to ensure their teams are set up for success. Advise on business development and operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with HR and organizational goals.
Employee Relations & Works Council: Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Collaborate with the HR Director to support Works Council activities, preparing and following up on meetings and mandatory processes.
HR Projects & Systems: Lead and participate in the development and implementation of local and global HR initiatives. Optimize the use of HR systems (e.g., Workday), ensuring processes are efficient and user‑friendly. Provide training and workshops to line managers on HR systems and tools.
HR Analytics: Manage and analyze HR data to provide actionable insights for business leaders. Develop and deliver reports (standard and ad hoc) to support decision‑making and highlight workforce trends.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HRBP or similar role. Strong background in strategic HR management in Belgium. Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. Knowledge: Deep understanding of Belgian labor laws and HR compliance requirements. Familiarity with global HR practices is a plus. Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills. Proven ability to navigate complex challenges. Language proficiency: Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is required. Bonus skills: Experience with eBlox, payroll systems, or a payroll background is a plus. What are your abilities
Proven expertise in negotiation and conflict resolution, with a strong ability to navigate complex employee relations. In‑depth knowledge of local employment and social legislation, ensuring compliance with Belgian labor laws. Advanced proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with sound judgment and decision‑making abilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism. Agile, adaptable, and ready to act as a change agent in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. A practical, hands‑on approach with the ability to drive results. Highly organized, with the ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
