As an experienced Data Governance Expert with a deep understanding of data governance concepts and their practical implementation in data governance tools, you will work closely with our clients daily to establish and maintain effective data governance processes and policies. You will assist in implementing data governance tools and platforms. Additionally, you are passionate about the topic and eager to support colleagues in implementing modern data platforms and AI solutions, ensuring proper governance by design. As a scale-up, you should expect entrepreneurial opportunities, including identifying opportunities and shaping new offerings as we grow.
What will you be doing?
Advise clients on data governance best practices and industry trends
Design and implement data governance frameworks, including data classification, metadata management, and data lineage
Support the development and deployment of data governance tools and platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate data governance requirements into data solutions, from Data Platforms to AI solutions
Help shape and refine our data & AI governance offerings

A minimum of 4 years of experience in data governance, with deep knowledge of frameworks, processes, and best practices
Practical experience translating governance knowledge into tools and platforms
Ability to work with clients at all organizational levels
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and business growth
Technical affinity combined with soft skills to drive change
Solid knowledge of GDPR and other data regulations (Basel III, Solvency II, HIPAA, etc.)
Experience working in a service or consulting organization
Fluent in English and either Dutch or French
