In the role of Accounting Manager, you will lead and develop a team of accounting professionals. You will be accountable for the effective execution of core financial processes while fostering collaboration across departments within an international scope.
Indirect Tax & Reconciliations
-Ensure VAT compliance and accurate account reconciliations
-Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and standardization
Governance & Compliance
-Maintain strong internal controls aligned with SOX and corporate policies
-Embed risk mitigation and governance into daily operations
Project & Change Management
-Lead key finance system upgrades and process improvement initiatives
-Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Team Leadership & Development
-Build and lead a high-performing, engaged accounting team
-Drive talent development through coaching, onboarding, and performance management
-Ensure operational excellence
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
-Oversee SLA and KPI tracking
-Leverage insights to drive performance
The succesful candidate ideally matches the following criteria:
* Master/bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
* Between 5-10 years of experience in Finance
* People management experience and ambition to lead
* Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
* Fluent in English, both written and verbal
* Excellent social and communication skills
* A resilient and professional mindset with a proactive approach to change
* Shown leadership ability to inspire, empower, and guide teams toward shared goals
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Experience with SAP and/or Power BI are a big plus
