Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Informatica System Engineer to support and guide enterprise-wide data platform initiatives within a complex international environment. The role focuses on providing Informatica expertise from an infrastructure and system engineering perspective, supporting multiple development and data integration teams.
You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Informatica platforms and tools, ensuring stability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Working closely with system architects and stakeholders, you will help define and execute the Informatica platform roadmap, including vision, strategy, and implementation planning.
This role is not an ETL developer position; it is focused on platform, infrastructure, and governance aspects of Informatica solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide Informatica platform guidance to IT development and data integration teams from an infrastructure and system engineering perspective
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Informatica applications and environments
• Support enterprise data management platforms, including:
• Reference Data Management (RDM)
• Master Data Management (MDM)
• Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC)
• Data Quality (DQ) and mappings
• Collaborate with system architects to define and maintain the Informatica platform roadmap, including vision, strategy, and implementation planning
• Advise and support solution and infrastructure design decisions
• Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and compliance with enterprise standards
• Share best practices, standards, and guidelines with other teams
• Act as a technical point of contact with Informatica support and labs to resolve incidents and complex technical issues
• Follow up on roadmap execution and continuous platform improvements

Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience as a System Engineer or Platform Engineer in complex enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica from an infrastructure/platform perspective (not ETL development)
• Solid knowledge of Informatica components such as MDM, RDM, DQ, EDC, and related tooling
• Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting ETL/data management platforms
• Familiarity with enterprise data architectures and large-scale data integration environments
• Ability to work closely with architects, development teams, and international stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with vendor support (e.g., Informatica labs) for incident and problem resolution
• Excellent communication skills and ability to share knowledge and best practices
