Description

In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and optimizing our compensation, benefits, and payroll processes. You will work within a team, supporting your colleagues and acting as the right hand of the Manager Comp&Ben and Payroll. You will assist the team in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and contribute to the development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits packages. In addition, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that all processes run smoothly and professionally.

* Support and oversee the complete payroll process for both blue-collar and white-collar employees, ensuring accuracy and timely payments together with the payroll team

* Work closely with the Comp&Ben – Payroll Lead and collaborate with HR colleagues in Genk, the Poland office, the HR corporate team, and external partners to streamline processes and exchange best practices

* Contribute to the development and maintenance of a fair and transparent job classification system for both blue-collar and white-collar employee groups

* Ensure ongoing compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll, compensation, and benefits (CSRD, Pay Transparency,…)

* Provide clear support and guidance to employees on payroll, compensation, and benefits-related questions

* Support or develop projects regard to Comp&Ben and Payroll

Qualifications
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar C&B or Payroll management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Strong knowledge of payroll processes, compensation structures, and benefits administration.
* Excellent understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in Belgium
* Proficiency in using payroll software and HR information systems (HRIS)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process improvements
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
* Fluency in English and Dutch; knowledge of French is an asset
* Interest in and understanding of data processing
