The role:
You will support customers across Belgium with occasional travel to the Netherlands. Youll have an opportunity to develop your professional career in a highly professional environment with innovative equipment and solutions for industrial companies. In this role youll be a part of our technical service team in Benelux, providing technical support to our local customers.
What youll do:
1. Perform corrective and curative interventions to ensure the fastest response time and "fix first time" behavior.
2. Once trained, perform pre-installations, installations and maintenance activity.
3. Perform training, both internally and externally where needed.
4. Complete service reports accurately, noting time confirmation, spare part usage, tasks performed, service product, fault/solution codes, installed base data maintenance (serial number, ink, counter value, functional location).
5. Actively promote and sell M-I service products to our customers, improving the up-time of the application and maximizing M-I sales results in addition to ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
6. Work in partnership with the sales teams to assist with sales revenue targets and revenue growth.
7. Travel around the assigned area with overnight night stays (1 -2 nights per month occasionally). Occasional requirement to travel globally to attend training and meetings.
What you need to have:
8. Experience as a Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer, having previously studied or gained working certification in mechanics/electronics.
9. Fluent in Dutch and English required.
10. Knowledge of technical products, ideally similar to MIs product range.
11. Excellent communication skills, customer facing.
12. Ability to technically assess situations and issues, and proactively advise on solutions.
13. Ability to follow procedures and plan time effectively.
14. Ability to manage multiple tasks.
