LAMBDA-X ( “High-Tech” division provides state-of-the-art optical technologies and engineering services for customized optical systems. We focus on high-tech innovation industries active in building a Better Environment (space and defense), Healthier World (life sciences, medical technology) and more Robust Processes (scientific, metrology and quality control equipment). Leveraging on a 30-year expertise in optics, mechanics, electronics, software, and working in close cooperation with our customers, all Lambda-X’s team members participate in providing innovative and differentiating optical-based solutions in multiple complex industrial environments. Lambda-X is member of the Verhaert Masters in Innovation Group ( one of the biggest product development companies in Europe with 350 people over 8 innovation centers in 3 countries offering all necessary expertise to innovate successfully. Reporting to the Space & Defense Business Line Officer and the CEO, and working closely with our business development, engineering, and production teams, you will drive the expansion of our high-tech B2B customer portfolio and boost global sales. Understanding and promoting Lambda-X services through networking, prospection missions, participation in international trade fairs and shows, setting-up and exploiting digital marketing techniques, leveraging the existing tools of the Verhaert group. Responding to inquiries and quotation requests, looking for new opportunities with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities by analyzing the market trends and competition. Managing key accounts and customer satisfaction through adequate communication and meeting management. Managing sales process internally in good coherence with the company’s EN9100 quality system to ensure that customers’ requirements as well as commercial objectives (quality, delivery times, deliverables…) Looking for more variation and challenges in your current job (we work for several markets, on several innovation challenges for governmental or international agencies, large and small companies). Energized through prospecting markets, through managing varied stakeholders (Production, R&D, …) and through discussing technical solutions with industrial customers. You hold a master’s degree in commercial engineering, economics, or product development, and you are genuinely driven by technology and innovation. You have a successful first experience in business development, with a proven international footprint in the Space and/or Defense sectors. Fluency in English and French is an absolute must. Dutch and German are a big plus. You demonstrate a strong drive to expand your knowledge of the optical business and new product development.
