Within this, our Transport team advises clients across btransport, logistics, and mobility ecosystems /b, combining economic expertise with strategic insight. /p h3The Opportunity: Your Next Adventure Awaits? /h3 pAs part of our continued growth, we are looking for a bDirector in Economic Advisory /b with a strong background in the btransport and logistics sectors (e.g. rail, aviation) /b. /p pIn this role, you will lead the development and delivery of high‑impact advisory services for bcorporates, infrastructure players, and public authorities /b, combining economic analysis with strategic insight. /p pYou will operate across a bbroad mix of engagements /b, ranging from commercial and strategic advisory to regulatory and policy‑driven projects, including work for bEuropean institutions and other public bodies /b. Your ability to navigate both bmarket‑facing and policy‑driven environments /b will be key to your success. /p h3Your Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and deliver complex advisory engagements across transport and logistics, including: ul lieconomic and regulatory analysis /li limarket and commercial strategy /li libusiness case development and cost‑benefit assessments /li lioperational and value chain optimisation /li /ul /li liDrive business development across corporate clients, infrastructure operators, and public sector entities (including EU institutions), shaping opportunities and leading proposals /li liLeverage your understanding of European regulatory and policy frameworks to support client strategies and advise on market developments /li liBuild and maintain senior client relationships across industry and public stakeholders, positioning EY‑Parthenon as a trusted advisor /li liOversee delivery of high‑quality outputs, ensuring methodological robustness and clear, actionable insights /li liLead and develop multidisciplinary teams across geographies /li liContribute to thought leadership on transport policy, regulation, and market trends in Europe /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul liExtensive professional experience (typically 10+ years) in economic regulation, strategy consulting, competition economics, and EU law related to network industries, transport or logistics. /li liProven track record in leading client engagements and business development, ideally in a consulting environment. /li liExperience working with corporate clients and/or public sector stakeholders, with exposure to European institutions, regulatory environments, or EU policy frameworks considered a strong asset. /li liStrong expertise in areas such as: transport economics and regulation; logistics and supply chain strategy; infrastructure and mobility systems or market analysis and commercial strategy. /li liDeep understanding of aviation policy (including ATM, safety, capacity, environment), Single European Sky performance, and charging schemes is considered an asset. /li liExceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. /li liFluency in English.
