Job Description
The scope of our contract is to bring assistance with a right-hand Project Executive, in the context of a large-scale digital transformation within a European energy transmission operator, aiming to harmonize portfolio governance and strategy across entities in Belgium and Germany.
The key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include:
Support projects by facilitating communication between stakeholders and progress towards objectives
* Track and report on program roadmaps, milestones and KPIs
* Ensure alignment with delivery teams and local portfolio leads in Belgium and Germany
* Drive the development of capability-based portfolio steering
* Ensure alignment between portfolio initiatives and group strategic objectives
* Facilitate cross-entity collaboration and stakeholder alignment
Support projects with rational and data-driven assessments regarding costs, quality, and timelines, providing objective analyses for decision-making
* Yearly business plan and arbitrage process: collect information, assess NPV calculations, prepare arbitrage decisions for management in close collaboration with Strategy and Controlling
* Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization of portfolio processes
Support projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution, ensuring accuracy and meeting expectations
* Support the execution of portfolio governance processes
* Quarterly portfolio steering process by preparing and evolving input formats, collecting information and ensuring information quality of the projects and products in the portfolio
* Maintain and improve portfolio tooling and reporting structures
* Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on portfolio data and trends
* Support the implementation and tracking of the digital transformation roadmap
* Contribute to the evolution of portfolio management practices toward a platform- and cloud-based digital delivery model
The Experience We Are Actively Looking For
* Proven experience in digital portfolio management in complex and multinational environments
* Strong understanding of hybrid delivery models (projects and products)
* Familiarity with digital transformation programs and capability-based planning
* Experience with portfolio management frameworks such as SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, or OKRs
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across cultures
* Hands-on, analytical, accurate, proactive, and result-oriented mindset
* Fluent in English and French or Dutch (German is a plus)
* Willingness to travel, mainly to Germany when required
* An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start)
* Immediate availability is preferred
* Valid single permit for non-EU citizens
