Your Role
We are currently looking for a motivated and promising Junior Java Back-End Developer to join our team supporting a European institution. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow their skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
As a Junior Java Back-End Developer, you will work closely with project managers, senior developers, and business stakeholders to deliver new features and continuously improve existing systems. You'll focus on server-side development and integration, contributing to robust and scalable enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
* Integrate with existing platforms and services
* Contribute to system enhancements and performance improvements
* Participate in testing, debugging, and validation activities
* Attend regular coordination meetings with the team and stakeholders
Profile Requirements
* A degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Solid foundation in Java development and object-oriented programming
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical environment
* Familiarity with databases (SQL) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
* A first professional experience with Java (e.g. internship or student project) is a strong asset
* Fluency in English
