As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the plant's operations, including production, maintenance, HSQE, scheduling, stock, customs, laboratory, and industrial projects. You will manage a team around 100 people and ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Implementing the medium- and long-term strategy of the site in alignment with group policies
* Driving performance improvements and cost optimization across all operational processes
* Supporting HSQE policies and ensuring compliance with High Threshold regulations
* Managing ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001) and steering continuous improvement initiatives
* Leading innovation projects (e.g., energy recovery) and supporting new product/process development
* Overseeing OPEX and CAPEX budgets and resource allocation
* Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and local authorities
* Promoting a positive social climate and chairing the CSE and CSSCT
* Acting as a member of the site's Management Committee
The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree in industrial engineering or general engineering
* At least 7 years of experience in industrial operations, ideally within a regulated environment
* Strong leadership and negotiation skills
* Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
* Fluency in English and in French
* A strategic leadership role within a high-impact industrial environment
