Job Summary
Develops and performs tasks related to the technical repair, calibration, operation, and maintenance of Werfen Instrument Systems. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues, conducting routine, calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance, and performing necessary repairs to restore functionality. The role also involves ensuring that all maintenance and repair activities are carried out in accordance with established protocols and safety standards, keeping detailed records of all work performed, and continuously monitoring the instruments to maintain their accuracy and reliability in various operational settings.
Key Accountabilities
Perform Technical Repairs on All Assigned Systems: This includes updates, upgrades, and product enhancements.
Perform Technical Refurbishment of Equipment Modules: Conduct refurbishment to ensure equipment modules are restored to optimal working conditions.
Programme, Execute, and Report on Service Calls: Plan and carry out service visits, ensuring detailed reporting on the work completed.
Use and Control of Tools, Diagnostic Instruments, and Communication Equipment: Properly utilize and manage all necessary tools and instruments required for service tasks.
Ensure Documentation is Updated and Available: Maintain updated technical documentation for assigned platforms and ensure it is accessible to Field Service Engineers (FSE).
Prepare Quotations for Customers: Provide cost estimates and service quotations to customers based on their needs.
Networking/Key relationships
* Other roles within service: Service Specialist Manager, Service Area Manager, Service Director, Helpline, Field Service Engineer, Supply Chain.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
Education: Completion of higher vocational education or a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
Experience: Background in a technical department with relevant experience.
