Software Engineer (C++/Python) Location: Limburg, Belgium
Employment: Full-Time/Permanent
I'm currently supporting an innovative technology company operating in the advanced sensing and intelligent systems space.
They develop cutting-edge software solutions that process and analyse complex real-time data for high-performance, safety-critical applications.
Their work sits at the intersection of software engineering, signal processing, and intelligent systems, delivering impactful technology used in challenging real-world environments.
Develop and maintain core software components within a real-time data processing platform
Work closely with engineers across software, data, and algorithm teams to integrate new capabilities
Contribute to backend services, APIs, and system-level design
Support the development of data pipelines and performance-critical applications
Strong experience in software development (C++ and/or Python preferred)
Solid understanding of core computer science principles (data structures, networking, system design)
Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
Experience working on performance-sensitive or data-heavy systems
Experience working with media/data streaming or similar technologies
Interest in hardware-adjacent or low-level software development
Highly collaborative engineering environment with strong technical depth
