We are currently looking for an Enterprise Architect to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
Location: Near-site (accessible within 2 hours from Brussels) - Remote work possible.
Responsabilities
* Create business architecture models that reflect the organization's strategies and goals.
* Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management priorities.
* Identify ways to reduce costs in IT and business leadership.
* Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities.
* Conduct research to find ways to improve operations.
* Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance.
* Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan.
Knowledge and skill
* Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as Togaf, COBIT, ZACHMAN..., and actual experience developing and building models based on such framework.
* Knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate, BPMN...
* Knowledge of enterprise architecture tools such as ARIS...
* Experience defining and implementing strategies under a CIO or equivalent.
* Ability to combine many different skills and experiences to address and solve business, information, and technology related opportunities and problems.
* Extensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goals.
* Excellent leadership and conciliation skills.
* Communications skills, both verbal (e.g.: presentations, seminars, etc.), and written (e.g.: reports, articles, etc.).
* Analysis and design.
* Modelling and graphical representations and abstractions.
Due to the nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills.
* Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.
* Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
* Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects.
* Excellent Team Player.
* Ability to understand, speak and write English (C1/C2) will be an advantage.
Specific expertise
* 8 years of specific expertise in architecture and design of information systems.
* 8 years of specific expertise in Java (both with J2SE and J2EE) with extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of design patterns.
* 8 years of specific expertise in relational databases (Oracle, Postgress..)
* 5 years of specific expertise with visual modeling and design tools (like ArchiMate,SparX Enterprise Architecture)
* 5 years of specific expertise in UML (version 2.0 or above)
* 8 years of specific expertise in developing secure web applications, with expertise in secure development practices.
* 4 years of specific expertise in Object Oriented design patterns e.g. Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP).
* 4 years of specific expertise in development of web services (REST and SOAP), with expertise in the design and development of web services.
* 4 years of specific expertise in data analysis and data modeling.
* 1 years of specific expertise in BPMN.
* 1 year of specific expertise with enterprise architecture frameworks such as Togaf, COBIT, ZACHMAN, ...
* 1 year of specific expertise in AI.
Profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field.
* Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluency in English is required, French is a strong asset.
