We are searching for an experienced Site Safety Construction Supervisor to support a longterm (> 2 years) and very interesting role for a client in the region of Leuven!

Our OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) department supports projects in different sectors on basis of project staffing with consultants working at the client’s site.
Responsibilities
The Site Safety Supervisor supervises the safe and orderly course of work on construction sites. He/she monitors compliance with legal safety regulations, the safety and health plan and internal procedures, and proposes corrective actions to mitigate risks. The position contributes to a safe working environment for employees, contractors and visitors. He/she ensures that work is carried out safely, in a controlled manner and according to procedures, which contributes to limiting risks and ensuring operational continuity.
The assignment
1. Carrying out daily safety rounds and inspections.
2. Checking compliance with safety-related elements such as: procedures, work permits, PPE use and machine safety, ...
3. Detecting unsafe situations and initiating immediate improvement actions.
4. Duration of the assignment, minimum 2 years, with extension if applicable
5. Desired start date: 01/03/2026
6. Work regime: fulltime
Qualifications
Required knowledge and skills
7. Eye for detail and strong observation skills.
8. Assertive and clear communication.
9. Proactive attitude and problem-solving thinking.
10. Basic knowledge of occupational safety, risk analysis and technical installations.
11. Degree in prevention, engineering, construction or equivalent, or relevant experience.
12. Prevention Advisor level 2 or 3 training is a plus.
13. Experience with recruiting and contractor follow-up is recommended.
14. Able to work in flexible hours
