A fast-growing SaaS company in the embedded analytics space is looking for an experienced freelance Google Ads Consultant. The goal is to revamp and optimize an existing Google Ads setup, tailored for high-value B2B enterprise deals averaging €30,000–€50,000 per year.
Since 2016, the company has invested heavily in Google Ads. While it initially followed a product-led growth approach, the focus has since shifted toward enterprise sales. However, current advertising efforts are underperforming, and there’s a need for a seasoned expert to audit the entire setup and take over implementation, in close collaboration with the in-house marketing team.
🎯 Project Objectives
The project consists of two key phases:
Phase 1 — Audit & Strategic Recommendations (± 2 weeks)
* Historical Performance Review: Analyze ad spend and campaign performance from 2016 to present
* Current Account Assessment: Review campaign structure, keywords, bidding strategies, and targeting
* Tracking & Attribution Audit: Evaluate conversion tracking, attribution models, and setup quality
* Performance Analysis: Identify inefficient spend and underperforming areas
* Actionable Strategy: Deliver a roadmap aligned with enterprise B2B sales goals
* Knowledge Transfer: Present findings and best practices to the internal team
Phase 2 — Implementation & Optimization (6 months, 3 days/week)
* Restructure campaigns and ad groups
* Refine targeting, keywords, bidding strategies, and ad creatives
* Implement improved tracking and measurement frameworks
* Ongoing performance-based optimizations
* Regular collaboration and knowledge sharing with the internal growth team
