Quality Engineer SM-API | Geel | Hybrid
We are seeking a Quality Engineer SM-API to support Supply Chain Quality at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Geel. This role is responsible for quality oversight of commercial SM-APIs ( Small Molecule Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) and supports timely final release in compliance with applicable regulations.
What you will do
* Review and approve non-conformances and CAPAs to support the QA Commercial Operations team.
* Review and approve GMP documentation, including procedures, work instructions, protocols, and reports.
* Provide quality support to the production plants and help ensure compliant operations.
* Process quality records such as Change Controls on time and in compliance.
* Participate in QA check rounds and support optimization projects and tasks.
* Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across Business and Quality teams.
What we are looking for
* Master’s degree in a scientific field.
* Experience in pharmaceutical or chemical quality assurance or supply chain.
* Must have experience with non-conformance handling.
* Strong knowledge of cGMP, ICH, quality systems, and related procedures.
* Able to work independently, think analytically, and make risk-based decisions under pressure.
* Fluent in Dutch and English.
* Hybrid role with regular on-site presence in Geel.
