The Sales Director is responsible for driving order intake and developing sales and market strategies in the region. This role involves coaching Business Development Managers, Site Team Leaders, and Project Pursuit Managers to create demand while maintaining direct contact with clients. The Sales Director collaborates closely with operations, services, and third parties to deliver project scopes and services in partnership with the Business Unit.

Onsite presence is essential for effective collaboration and fostering our dynamic team environment. Since this role spans the region, your regular weekly presence in both offices will be critical for success: days in Diegem, Belgium and days in Rijswijk, Netherlands.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Focus on driving sales strategies, developing growth plans, assigning responsibilities, and collaborating on initiatives.
Organizational Development
Enhance channel effectiveness, develop team talent, and guide managers in recruitment and capability-building.
Lead skill development, oversee sales collaboration, drive performance, and improve customer satisfaction.
Cultural Development
Promote a value creation approach and implement teamwork principles for continuous improvement.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Past experience in sales / business development in process industry / industrial automation environment .
* Proven experience in people management and driving engagement.
* Experience in sales targeting and forecasting.
* Proven record of agility and innovation.
* Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
