POSITION: We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to
lead concrete construction projects in Wallonia. Here is a list of
the responsibilities related to the position: - Project Management:
Directs concrete construction projects from initiation to
completion, ensuring that deadlines, budgets and established
quality standards are met. - Team Coordination: Supervise and
coordinate on-site teams, including engineers, technicians, and
laborers, to ensure efficient and safe execution of work. -
Contract Management: Negotiate, draft, execute and administer
contracts throughout their life cycle. Ensure compliance with
contractual terms and conditions and resolve contractual disputes.
- Quality Control: Ensuring the quality of concrete construction
work, by conducting regular inspections and implementing quality
control measures. - Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance
and support to internal teams and external stakeholders. Interpret
technical specifications, evaluate project requirements, and
propose solutions to technical challenges. - Risk Management:
Assess and mitigate risks associated with project delivery and
contractual obligations. Develop risk management strategies and
implement measures to minimize their impact. - Documentation and
Reporting: Manage project documentation, including contracts,
proposals, progress reports, and other relevant documents. Ensure
meticulous recordkeeping and accurate reporting to track project
progress, milestones, and financial expenditures. - Regulatory
Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations,
and industry standards. Stay informed of regulatory changes and
implement necessary measures to maintain compliance. - Stakeholder
Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders,
including clients, contractors, subcontractors, regulatory
agencies, and other project participants. Communicate effectively,
negotiate and resolve conflicts to foster positive relationships.
ABOUT YOU: - You have a civil/construction engineering or
related-field degree - You have at least 5 years in managing
on-site concrete structure construction projects. - You have
demonstrated skills in contract management and team coordination -
You have a technical expertise in concrete structure - You're
proficient with project manager software - You're fluent in both
