At SG Tech, we are currently looking for an SAP Support Specialist to join a strategic project for a leading financial entity based in the UK. Due to the urgency of the requirement, we are actively reviewing profiles and moving quickly with suitable candidates.
This role offers the opportunity to work within an Agile product team, closely collaborating with business stakeholders, including the CEO Procurement function, to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of SAP systems.
Role Overview
The SAP Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical, functional, and user support across SAP platforms, ensuring system stability, performance, and effective adoption by end users. The role involves troubleshooting incidents, implementing enhancements, and supporting business-critical SAP processes.
Requisitos
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP system issues across different environments.
* Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and regular system maintenance activities.
* Coordinate closely with the SAP Basis team for system updates, patches, and upgrades.
2. User Support
* Provide first-line support to end users for SAP-related queries and incidents.
* Assist users with SAP functionalities, ensuring they are properly trained and able to maximize system capabilities.
* Develop, maintain, and update user documentation and training materials.
3. Functional Support
* Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
* Customize and configure SAP modules to support and optimize business processes.
* Support the design, testing, and implementation of SAP enhancements and new functionalities.
4. Incident & Problem Management
* Log, track, and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and proper communication.
* Analyse recurring incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid future issues.
5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
* Work closely with internal IT teams and external SAP consultants to resolve complex technical and functional issues.
* Collaborate with business units to ensure SAP solutions align with business strategies and objectives.
* Actively participate in Agile product team ceremonies and delivery activities.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
* Strong understanding of SAP architecture and core functionalities.
* Proven experience providing SAP technical and functional support.
* Hands-on experience with SAP modules such as:
* SAP Ariba
* AP (Accounts Payable)
* AR (Accounts Receivable)
* GL (General Ledger)
* Experience with ABAP / ARIBA / MM modules is required.
* Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience working in Agile product teams.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
* High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
