Role overview
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Java Architect who will be responsible for defining and implementing enterprise-level strategies for content, records, and information management, including policies for data capture, retention, archiving, and digital preservation. Designs and maintains backend and integration solutions for records and archive management systems, ensuring compliance with legal, security, and data protection requirements. Leads system integration and migration from legacy repositories, develops scalable data exchange and publication services, and establishes metadata standards to support efficient storage, retrieval, and long-term preservation of digital information.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you'll need:
* Master’s degree, at least 5 years of experience.
* Strong background in document, records, and information lifecycle management, including archiving, digital preservation, and secure document access.
* Experience in the design and implementation of enterprise content and records management platforms, as well as long-term archiving solutions.
* Solid experience in system architecture for large-scale environments, including integrations and migration of data from legacy systems.
* Hands-on experience with Java/JEE ecosystem and related technologies such as JavaScript, JSP, XML, HTML, SOAP, Angular, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL, Hibernate, and development tools like Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Bamboo, and ElasticSearch.
* Practical knowledge of metadata models, semantic technologies, open data standards, encryption, digital signatures, and full-text search solutions.
* Good understanding of Agile practices, web services, enterprise integration approaches, cloud environments, and relational database systems.
* Experience working with document/records management platforms such as OpenText Documentum or Alfresco.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a delivery-focused and flexible mindset.
* Comfortable working independently as well as within international and cross-functional teams.
* Fluency in English required.
* Candidates must be EU citizens.
Would be considered a strong plus:
* Knowledge of French will be considered an asset.
