Responsibilities
* Monthly/annual accounting closing for local and reporting purposes
* Reportings for consolidation purposes
* Financial Statements for local GAAP
* Actively manage, monitor, and implement processes related to the IFRS adoption
* Liaison with outsourcing companies that support the closing
* Control and improve processes related to accounting closing and internal/external auditing
* Control and review the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow
* Support business with accounting, AP, and AR information
Qualifications
* Bachelor in Accounting. MBA related is a plus
* Accounting experience in medium or large companies – at least 12 years
* Previous experience in accounts payable and payroll is a plus
* Fluent English. Advanced Spanish is a plus
* Advanced MS Office (mainly Excel)
* Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
* Hands‑on knowledge of the ERP system (Oracle is a plus)
* Ability to effectively interface and communicate with multiple varied internal and external groups and organizations
* Sense of urgency; ability to get things done quickly and multi‑task
* Self‑starter with ability to work independently and under pressure
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
