Job description
As a Warehouse Officer, you play an important role in the daily operations of the site. You ensure a correct logistical flow, support various departments and follow procedures meticulously.
Your tasks include, among others:
- Checking minimum stock levels and placing orders
- Following up on orders with approved suppliers
- Receiving, handling and registering raw materials on the BIC site
- Preparing and following up on missing documents (such as MSDS sheets)
- Delivering and collecting materials and documents between departments
- Sorting and distributing packages or goods
- Performing general administrative tasks
- Communicating with internal departments
Profiel
- You hold an A2 diploma (a bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- You have knowledge of chemistry, either through education or experience
- Forklift experience and/or a certificate is an advantage
- You have a good command of spoken and written English
- You work easily with MS Office (knowledge of Excel is a plus)
- Knowledge of CISPRO, SharePoint or similar systems is an asset
- You can handle physical work and have a hands-on attitude
