Medipartner is hiring a National Sales & Key Account Manager Pharma!

Are you ready to join a dynamic and growing company in the pharmaceutical industry?


As National Sales & Key Account Manager Pharmacy, you are responsible for driving and scaling our pharmacy business. You act as a strategic partner for key accounts and pharmacy groups. This role is critical to Medipartner’s growth in the Belgian market. Your entrepreneurship and strategic expertise will directly impact our sales performance and brand visibility.


Function

* Lead & grow the pharmacy channel: deliver sales targets and profitability for the pharmacy business.
* Build strategic partnerships: strengthen relationships with pharmacy groups, wholesalers and independents.
* Collaborate closely with other Medipartner departments.
* Drive operational excellence: implement cycle plans, incentive programs.
* Plan and develop the commercial strategy for pharmacies and pharmacy groups, convincing stakeholders with an enthusiastic and pragmatic approach.
* Project management: lead projects from A to Z related to commercial activities.
* Analyze actions and sales results, making adjustments where necessary.
* Negotiate partnerships.
* Responsible for applied discounts, and execute and implement business plan initiatives at Key Account level.
* Acquire in-depth knowledge of the pharmacy landscape and the dynamics of Key Accounts.
* Manage the assigned budget and set priorities within this budget.
* Identify new opportunities for promotions and collaborative initiatives.
* Actively participate in internal Management and Sales meetings.
* Engage operational partners through continuous feedback and the setting of shared goals.
* Build strong working relationships with (internal) stakeholders.
* Ensure continuous improvement of Key Account Management plans and activities.
* Challenge the current strategy by introducing new ideas, engaging in dialogue with stakeholders, and launching pilot projects.
* Demonstrate sound judgment in making business decisions.
* Adhere to and comply with all legal and compliance regulations related to OTC.


Profile

* You are a strategic thinking & business leader, passionate about the pharma market. You know how to turn pharmacy potential into commercial success.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a paramedical field, Sales & Marketing, or Business/Economics.
* Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
* Proven experience and network as a Key Account Manager in the pharmaceutical sector is required. Management experience is an asset.
* 10+ years of experience in Consumer Health, OTC, Pharma or FMCG.
* Strong sales leadership experience.
* Deep understanding of pharmacy networks and the Belgian healthcare market.
* Strong strategic insight.
* Proven track record of success in previous projects.
* Demonstrated leadership in a multidisciplinary work environment, with experience collaborating across departments.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills – combined with an assertive attitude.
* Strong analytical and technical skills in MS Office – especially Excel.
* Experienced negotiator who exudes enthusiasm, motivation, and self-confidence.
* Well-organized with a keen eye for detail in reporting and administrative tasks.
* Teamplayer.
* Open-minded and flexible. Receptive to constructive feedback.
