Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join a leading company in the automotive sector. This is an onsite role in Sint Truiden, where you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and testing of advanced automotive software systems.
Responsibilities
* Specify, design, implement, and document software functionalities
* Work closely with the SW Verification and Validation team to develop test specifications and write test cases
* Develop new software and maintain existing products
* Collaborate with System and Application software teams to solve complex technical challenges
* Assist in diagnosing software-level issues
* Develop and maintain technical documentation
* Participate in agile development environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
* Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In Embedded Software Development
* Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems
* Experience with Autosar configuration
* Familiarity with automotive software development standards (e.g., ASPICE)
* Good understanding of software architecture principles
* Proficient in static and dynamic code analysis methodologies and tools
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Pragmatic, proactive, and solution‑oriented
* Organized and detail oriented
* Fluent in English
