Senior Fleet Manager
Your primary responsibility as Senior Fleet Manager will be to oversee and develop a team of approximately 300 drivers, serving as the first point of contact for them. Key aspects of this role include:
* Collaborating with the City Operations Manager to manage day-to-day operations at the hub, encompassing facilities management, courier planning, and fleet supervision.
* Supporting strategic planning by identifying and addressing key issues within the hub, working towards effective resolutions to meet local KPI objectives.
* Maintaining a safe work environment by conducting thorough incident reviews, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, including fire safety protocols.
* Oversight of performance metrics targets through analysis of data, reporting, and monitoring restaurant partners.
* Managing a team of Courier Coordinators, handling employee relations, sickness, and holiday planning.
This position requires a proactive, organized approach, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in shifts between 8:00 AM and 11:30 PM, including weekends.
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in logistics, last-mile delivery, or relevant fields; leadership experience is advantageous.
* Excellent English language proficiency, with Dutch being a plus.
* Stress resilience and solution-oriented thinking are essential.
