Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative technology company at the forefront of industrial 3D printing, supporting customers across sectors such as healthcare, aerospace, defense, and high-tech manufacturing.The position is based in Leuven (Belgium), where 3D Systems hosts an important technology and manufacturing hub for Direct Metal Printing (DMP) solutions.Your role:As Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality training programs for customers, partners, and internal technical teams using industrial 3D metal printing systems. The role combines developing training materials, delivering training (on site & online) and coordination, administration and digitalisation.You will join a small, global training team and collaborate closely with experts from R&D, field service, and technical support.Your main tasks & responsibilities:Develop and update training programs, including presentations, manuals, and assessments for online and classroom courses.Deliver technical trainings in both classroom settings and hands-on lab environments.Demonstrate complex technical procedures and guide participants through practical, hands-on exercises.Handle all training-related administration, including tracking certifications and preparing reports.Administers written or online tests and certification exams.Collaborate with internal departments (mostly R&D) to follow new product developments and translate new product information and technical documentation into effective training materials.Travel internationally (approximately 15–25%) to deliver on-site training, primarily in Europe and Asia, with occasional travel to other regions.You contribute to initiatives aimed at further improving training offering and delivery, such as digitalization, new training methods, and process improvements.Your Profile:Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (preferably electromechanics), or equal through experience.At least three years of experience in a knowledge-transfer role, such as technical training, technical support, or field service for complex machinery.Experience in high regulated industries is a plus.Strong, proven hands-on technical skills to demonstrate and explain technical procedures).Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them clearly, patiently, and effectively to a diverse audience.Willing to travel 15-25% of your time internationally and work on projects across various industries.Fluent in English.
