Meatier keeps the entire chain under its own control — and you can taste the difference. For our client Meatier, an ambitious food company, we are looking for a Business Developer. In this role as Business Developer Belgium: You are responsible for actively generating new sales and expanding the customer base in the regions of Wallonia, Limburg, Antwerp, Luxembourg, and parts of the Netherlands. You identify and approach potential customers through targeted prospecting and networking. You guide customers from A to Z: from initial contact and needs analysis to preparing quotations and following up orders via ERP-Lisa. You work closely with the owners, internal sales team, production workshop, and accounting department to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. You participate in weekly sales meetings to discuss results, strategies, and challenges. Initial experience in an all-round sales role with a focus on networking and hunting. Affinity with the meat sector. Independent worker who can think strategically and execute hands-on. Social, assertive, and flexible, with a talent for building relationships and being customer-oriented. Willing to work flexibly, including spending at least half a day per week on-site in Middelkerke. Fluent bilingual in Dutch and French.
